Happy new year to everyone, we hope you had a good Christmas.
Thank you to everyone who bought raffle tickets and to all the local businesses who donated. We managed to raise over £1400 to go directly into renovation works. These works are to begin this weekend, so if anyone is available to help next weekend (7th January), the following weekend (14th January) and some days during the week (currently unconfirmed), please respond to this email and let us know so work parties can be organised.
The renovation works being carried out are mainly in confined areas so work will be done with small numbers at a time so we’re not tripping over each other. There is a renovation works plan working with volunteer help as well as specialist contractors.
There will be disruptions to the pub, however the bar will remain open and the rooms available to book.
