WOW! Today was a rather special day as Rishi Sunak, our Prime Minister and local MP, came to visit our very own community pub!
We showed him what an amazing pub we’ve been able to purchase through a combination of locally raised funds and the Government’s Community Ownership Fund.
He spent over half an hour meeting Lisa and Dan, plus many of the committee members and locals. He also took a mini tour to see how we are progressing with our renovations.
We hope our local MP enjoyed himself and will be back again when we’ve been able to do a bit more work.
